Welcome to the "Cholesterol Is Good" Blog

The "Cholesterol Is Good" Blog was created to bust the "Cholesterol is Bad" Myth and its equally dangerous sister, the "Saturated Fat is Bad" Myth.

These two nutritional myths are contributing to the epidemics of obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and a large group of diseases that are now known as "Syndrome X".

Here are two facts you must completely understand if Perfect Health or disease prevention and cure are your goals:

Fact 1: Cholesterol is Good; Cholesterol is as vital to the health as are water, protein and vitamins. See

Fact 2: Saturated Fat is Good; The fat from animals contains essential vitamins and nutrients not available in foods of plant origin.
